As the Chief Operating Officer of Family Home Medical and with over 15 years of experience in home health care, Kathleen Hoffman specializes in wounds, ostomy management, continence care and foot care.  Kathleen received her Masters in Nursing from Drexel University and her Bachelors in Nursing from Hahnemann University.

Kelly Macieunas, OTRIL

Kelly has received a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia College and has 17 years of experience in multiple therapy settings including Acute Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing Home, Outpatient Services and Home Health.

In the privacy of their own home your loved one can use our monitors to check their blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, body weight and blood sugar levels.  All of the results are  monitored by a Registered Nurse who will follow up with a phone call to the house if any abnormal results are shown.  Family Home Medical’s staff will also contact the physician directly to discuss the results.  If needed, a nurse can also visit the patient in their home to verify the results and status of your loved ones.

Skilled Nursing

Our registered nurses evaluate patient needs, changes dressings, obtain lab samples, check vital signs, and gives necessary instructions to patients and caregivers at home.  On a broader scale, the Registered Nurse also observes the patient’s response to medications, helps establish an ongoing plan of care, and educates the patient about his or her condition.  We employ a Certified Wound, Ostomy, Foot Care, and Continence Nurse on our full time staff.

Physical Therapy

A licensed Physical Therapist assists patients with their prescribed exercise regimen and instructs them in the use of adaptive equipment designed to improve their mobility and independence at home.

Occupational Therapy

A licensed Occupational Therapist assists patients in learning to manage their activities of daily living, teaching self-care skills, and recommending and providing instruction for applicable assistive devices.

Speech Therapy

A licensed Speech Therapist works to improve oral-motor function for patients who have difficulty swallowing or speaking.

Home Health Aids

A Home Health Aide provides personal care services that include bathing, grooming.
